Hints for Searching FAA Files

Searching the FAA file descriptions will offer some special challenges. However, if you follow a couple of general rules, you can make your life much easier!

Some Aircraft designations: things like DC-9, MD-11 require a special search technic. The search engine ignores special characters like the the "-" character and instead treats DC as one word and 9 as another word. This means you want to search for DC AND 9 or Cessna AND 172R...
