THE PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE...
SELECT FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE
A distinguished lady walked into one of our offices and announced to one of our managers, “I’ve been a working wife, I’ve managed the household and I’ve just finished putting my two children through college…Now it’s my time!” Apparently she had always yearned to be a pilot and like so many of us had too many other priorities to attend to. Is it your turn? If so, American Flyers would love to become your flight school. We believe that we can assist you in becoming an extremely safe and competent pilot at a lower total investment than anyone else. The reason that American Flyers is the largest flight school in the world is simple… We don’t do anything else but teach pilots.
THE “VIP” PROGRAM
The flights of the Private Pilot are governed by what the FAA refers to as “VFR”, or Visual Flight Rules. The Instrument Rated pilot’s flights are governed by “IFR”, or Instrument Flight Rules. At American Flyers we like to refer to our most popular course as the “VIP” which stands for “VFR-IFR PILOT”. The VIP course integrates the Private Pilot curriculum with the Instrument Rating’s into a seamless educational program. Possessing VFR and IFR skills is highly desirable. By combining the training you not only become a safer, more proficient pilot, but will also save substantial dollars. The complexity of simultaneous training can only be accomplished in an extremely organized school.
