THE “ACADEMIES”
We offer two magnificent flight training programs modeled after the military’s. Each is designed to merge the energies and enthusiasm of our students with the leadership and knowledge of our instructors. Regardless if it’s a military or a civilian pilot training program, time is of the essence. To assure that there is no wasted time, an extremely organized curriculum is adhered to. Most important, the quality of the education must be the primary focus. The comparison to the military is appropriate. The military can’t afford a bad landing in their F-15’s any more than the civilian pilot can get a job messing up his initial flight test. The Academy “synergism” is achieved by limiting each flight training class to a maximum number of students, six in the Career Academy and 20 in the Instructor Academy. An additional benefit of the Academy is the incredible level of camaraderie that each training group achieves. Many a lifelong friendship is created during participation.

Getting the job will be a result of how well you learned your pilot skills in the first place. American Flyers has launched more professional pilot careers than any other organization in the world. There are no guarantees for getting a job, but if one reason stands out over all others, it’s the quality of your education than counts most. We’re proud of our graduates, they earned their jobs by working hard in a school where everyone is committed to be the best that they can be, whether they were the teachers, the support staff or the student.
