BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO APPLY ON-LINE, CALL THE SCHOOL YOU WILL BE ATTENDING AND FIND OUT FIVE IMPORTANT ITEMS THAT YOU WILL NEED IN FILLING OUT THESE APPLICATIONS:
- School Contact Name
- Start date
- Graduation date
- Pick two disbursement dates for your funds (one can be up to 30 days before class start date) note: *cannot start training without money on account
- Loan amount ( to include tuition and living expenses, if required)

When you open the link from the American Flyers web site...
Click on: “ Loan Center” (in the upper left -hand corner menu options) “Apply For A Loan” “Apply Online Now”
(Note: Can apply by Phone - 800-255-Teri, Press 2 for customer service, press 2 again for representative)
Click on: New Application - 4 Steps
STEP 1 - Select A School
“My Application Request is for”...Please select: College/University Tuition and/or Expenses
“Country”: select - USA
“ State”: select - State in which the American Flyer school you wish to attend is located
“School”: select - American Flyers
“School Code”: Automatically shows once you select the school
STEP 2 - Select Enrollment
“Grade Level”: select - Undergraduate
“Enrollment”: select - ½ time or more in a degree program or certificate program
“Major”: select - All Others or All Majors
“Amount requested”: Total amount should include tuition and living expenses, if needed.
STEP 3 - Select A Loan
“Loan Product”: select - “Teri Undergraduate Loan”
“Lender”: TERI offers loans through many banks. Please choose one of the 10 banks offered. Can review rates by clicking on “Rate Info”.
“Repayment option”: Click on to review options and select one
“Credit Preference”: select - “creditworthy applicant ” for yourself, and if using a co-signer, you will need to click on “Creditworthy Co-signer”
STEP 4 - Complete Application
“Application”: Create a password
“School Information”:
Academic Period: Know your start and finish date
Graduation date: Should be same as finish date
Program of study: “All others”or “All majors”
Grade level: “Undergraduate freshman”
* The rest of the application will be asking for personal information. Complete and submit.
HELPFUL HINT:
After you have been “conditionally approved”, you and/or your co-signer may be asked to fax identification information, such as a driver's license. Make sure that you enlarge the photocopy of the ID that you are making before you send it in a fax . The “signature” line in a normal size photocopy is often hard to see in a fax. From experience, we have found many loans delayed because the lender can't clearly identify the signature line. This delay could cost you several days in the processing of your loan. Apply Online Now
